ZOMBIES!

ZOMBIES! Love them or hate them, they aren't going anywhere in film and of course TV with the Walking Dead and various others.

This shot is from 28 Weeks Later (2007) , the sequel to 28 Days Later (2002). It is the opening storming scene where Robert Caryle's character Don is fleeing a horde of angry, rage-virius fuelled infected. Baring in mind he has just a abandoned his wife for dead too - the scene is heart stopping, well edited and let's face it, pretty bleak.

What is your favourite Zombie genre film? Would it be a George A. Romero classic or, Is it an obscure one not many people have heard of? Or is it a classic like Land of the Dead? Or even a Zom Rom Com like Life after Beth, or Shaun of the Dead?

My personal favourites are Dawn of the Dead (remake 2004) and Norwegian Nazi Zombie horror/comedy Dead Snow (2009).
